Welcome!
Jenna-Leigh Hoffmann is an author, researcher, integrative nutrition and functional health coach, entrepreneur, speaker, and host of the In Rhythm podcast, whose work explores the relationship between human biology, performance, and the natural rhythms that shape our lives.
Her work is grounded in a simple idea: human health is rhythmic. From sunlight and sleep to movement, nutrition, stress, and recovery, Jenna-Leigh examines how living in greater alignment with our biological rhythms may represent one of the most important opportunities for improving health, resilience, and human flourishing.
With a background spanning business strategy, marketing, integrative health, and science communication, Jenna-Leigh brings together research and real-world application to make complex health science practical, accessible, and deeply human. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, a Master's degree in International Business, is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and completed 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
A former elite athlete who trained at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and competed in fencing, triathlon, and modern pentathlon, Jenna-Leigh developed an early fascination with the connection between physiology, environment, and human performance. She later spent several years leading digital product and technology initiatives before leaving corporate consulting to dedicate her career to advancing health and wellbeing.
In 2022, she founded State of Sun, a platform that creates immersive wellness experiences, retreats, and educational programs inspired by the rhythms of nature. She is also the author of Becoming Sunshine, a book exploring how reconnecting with the natural world can transform our energy, health, and happiness.
Today, Jenna-Leigh writes, speaks, coaches, and hosts the In Rhythm podcast, where she explores the science of human health through conversations with researchers, physicians, athletes, explorers, and thought leaders. Alongside her work with individuals and organizations, she translates emerging science into practical strategies for healthier living. Her current doctoral research explores how biological rhythms, behavior, and modern environments influence human health, wellbeing, and performance, with a focus on identifying evidence-based approaches to preventative health.
Whether through research, writing, coaching, podcasting, or adventure, her mission remains the same: to help people rediscover what becomes possible when we live in rhythm with the systems that have shaped human life for millennia.
